There are many types available with varying degrees of precision. All of these applications require not only the pump but a system with controls and protection. You can buy the pumps plus accessories and construct your own system or in some cases buy a packaged system from the pump supplier. It varies what can be offered from the various pump suppliers therefore ask them what all they can supply and compare it to the cost of doing it yourself. Most of the pump suppliers can offer technical assistance with sizing the correct pumps and furnishing the correct materials of construction based on the data the customer furnishes them. It is a good idea to provide as much information as possible which could eliminate some headaches later on. Sometimes the pump manufacturer can send out test pieces of the pump material to place in the fluid to check the compatibility. In many cases they have a list of fluids they have already handled successfully. |
